Strange as it may seem, but I need really more people like you in my life as anyone who says that the

Try very little to be normal provides very little comfort for someone who finds its difficult talking to

Unfamiliar faces that have very little time to form opinions on another face to be forgotten as a tiny

Victory in avoiding a foundation for new friendships in a person looking nothing more than a smile.

Whatever twists of fate allowed us to meet and discover that we were roughly the same frequency to

Exchange words without a trace of fear allowed some happiness to fill my heart and a good level of

Yesterday’s dread faded into the shadows where it belongs so that our new future can shine brighter.

Zipping one’s lip when one is scared is pathetic, but your spirit loosened the teeth so words could go

Across to see what ears weren’t reluctant to hear inner thoughts have struggled to escape the void of

Brains filled with multiple thoughts weighed down by memories of being told your voice was never

Cared for because other accepted people didn’t come up with it first and attain the undeserved glory.

Discovering one’s voice through print is a strange thing as we don’t immediately know who the new

Enigmatic person could be until several pages have been filled with ideas finally able to stretch wings

Freely and travel to new places with each stroke of a pen or buttons pressed to unlock new wonders.

Gaining friends is an amazing privilege of life and I’m glad that we stayed close throughout the odd

Hurdles reality makes us jump over when we think we’ve found good footing to look to the horizon,

Imagining where we’ll go next and who else will be there to brighten our days even when we feel all

Jolly from having another day where we don’t have to fear that something odd is around the corner

Keeping us grounded in a place we aren’t supposed to be with a quick slap in the face as a cruel joke.

Learning is a natural part of life and I enjoy learning what I can about my friends to see how we can

Match interests and to discover new things to broaden our horizons during the long waits between a

Next meeting to catch up on how much we’ve grown and the amount we still have to do in order to

Open our nervous eyes to gaze upon things that one day will illuminate the way to grander wonders.
