Caring natures are becoming a rarity in this modern world because I has go both ways on the

Black highway where simple waving can offend anyone not used to constant positive energy.

A few people I’ve known care greatly about those around them, despite occasions when the

Zeal of life runs out faster than a cheap piece of gum that tasted so well moments earlier,

Yearning to return the special flavor to distract from a dark moment waiting to pounce during

Extraordinary times like when friends are meant to take the next step in life where happiness

Wakes to strengthen bonds that remain strong no matter how far apart people sadly end up,

Vying for another few moments together beyond an eternity passes by in a wave of bitter cold

Until warmth returned when a familiar face is seen amongst the crowd, causing sudden stop of

Time to allow joy to be transferred life it had never left and paradise is no longer a faint dream.

Sadly, there are those who enjoy the suffering of others to share in the constant, toxic misery

Reaching out to tear away at whatever brilliant light has shined one this day in a small moment,

Quickly destroying the smile that formed when no one else was looking to stand triumphant,

Pushing the darkness away like someone had placed a star in front of the lost to guide those

Out of sorrow and into a new world where people are friendly and that it’s alright to be

Not as afraid when making this strange journey as long as you embrace making friends for strength.

Many people have to wait a long time until they find someone to show them the special way because

Sorrow is another important part of life because it’s how people recover that can help them slowly

Repair their lives by meeting new people in the same boat, but rowing at different speeds in order to

Quell the storm both above and in the hearts of people unsure if the beat is sounding like others

Poking around in the dust to find other souls to feel better about being left behind in society’s race.

Only someone who desires joy in everyone around them can survive in the ever changing world,

Never being afraid to smile when others have to wear a frown like it’s the only expression possible.

Meeting people who make others happy is one of the most pristine experiences life has to offer as

Learning to feel the joy of putting a smile on a once frozen face further melts the ice inside oneself.

Kindness is the first step in the process and too many people skip this step in favor of personal joy

Just to provide an illusion that it’s possible for some to be in bliss by making others feel like garbage

Risk or time to wander through the wastes society leaves behind to prevent everyone from

Quietly slipping by without enduring additional suffering to bring many back into their despair,

Out amongst clear skies over soft, green grass meant for caressing the souls to distract from the

Nonsense that gets in the way of finding that purpose everyone has in life, however takes time to

Maintain this balance between control and chaos without the use of a good friend to provide a

Little more than a quick smile to serve as another distraction on the path to personal salvation.

Keeping those you trust and respect close is important because some fear being left all alone,

Just wandering in their haze for anything to spark interest or to push the dust aside to perhaps

Imagine that something better is out there, but it takes more than a thought to change destiny.

Hearts take a long time to heal and without compassionate people ready to step in, only a few
